Download Windows 8 Official ISO from Microsoft
If you are looking for a place to download Windows 8 Official ISO probably because you upgraded from Windows 7 or have misplaced the previous ISO, the you can download this ISO from Microsoft using following tutorial.
This method is only for those who have purchased original license of Windows 8 from Microsoft i.e. you already have a product key. This tutorial will actually download the upgrade but that can be used to clean install windows 8.
Also note that if you want to download the 64-Bit version of windows 8 then you should follow this tutorial on a computer on which a 64-Bit OS is already installed and for 32-Bit Windows 8 ISO, perform these steps on a computer with 32-Bit operating system.
Step 1: Click on the link Install Windows 8, and a program named Windows8-Setup.exe will be downloaded.
Step 2: Run the program you have just downloaded, and you will be immediately asked for the product key. You can found that in the email you got from Microsoft after the confirmation of order.
Step 3: Once the product key is verified, you will see that Windows 8 Pro is ready for download.
Step 4: Now the setup will download required files from internet and will take some time depending upon your connection speed. Approximate download is 2GB.
Step 5: Once the download is finished, the setup will now check and verify the downloaded the files. After verification, files will be processed to get ready for the next step.
Step 6: Now on the next screen choose Install by creating media and click Next.
Step 7: Select create an ISO file, then click on Save
Step 8: Now select where you want to save Windows.iso file and click Save and start the process. Setup will now take some time to save the downloaded files in the form an ISO.
Next step will finally show you the product key that you had entered earlier at the start of the process. Click on the Finish to end the process.
Finally you can create a bootable USB Flash drive or simply burn the ISO to a DVD and save it for later use.
