How to Disable Start Screen Animations Completely in Windows 8
If you do not like your start screen animations or are on a slow computer but want your PC to response effectively then you can disable windows start screen animations. This will help not only in fast booting up plus also quick UI response.
You don’t have to install anything, everything is already there in your windows. Simply follow these steps and disable the animations.
Step 1: Right click on Computer icon on your desktop and click properties.
Step 2: In the left sidebar, click on Advanced system settings.
Step 3: In the next dialogue box, goto Advanced tab and click on Settings
Step 4: There you will find many options, look for “Animate controls and elements inside windows” and simply un-check it.
That’s all you need to do, and your start-up screen animations will be disabled.
